OVERVIEW & HIGHLIGHTS
The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking a qualified individual as a Computer Lab Technician III. The Incumbent under the direction of an assigned supervisor, provide advanced instructional help-desk technical support. Perform a variety of highly specialized technical support in installation, repair, configuration and alteration of instructional technology and software, servers, and peripheral equipment in a local and wide area network as well as wireless campus wide. Work with project teams comprised of Information Systems, Network Administrators, and staff. Graduation from high school and any combination of education and experience equivalent to two years college level course work in, Mac Integration and network management. Completion of Mac OS X software and OS X server programs including UNIX, and other related topics or equivalent experience. At least three years of successful work experience in the field of computer science, or a 2 year degree in Computer Science.
Cisco certification (CCNA), required or two years' work experience in installation and managing network equipment.
Network Administration and Software Application Certificates preferred.
