The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting and implementing marketing initiatives that reflect the company vision, values, brand and strategic strength. The Marketing Coordinator will be tasked with leading the company's initiatives in community events and enhancing its digital footprint in the Northeast: New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Digital
- Website maintenance (edits, fresh content, etc)
- Lead point of contact in relationship with digital vendors/agencies
- Present ideas based on ongoing market research about how to keep our website fresh, current, interesting
- Content creation
- Collaboration with PCRM and corporate marketing and sales
- Planning and execution of social content (e.g. Infertility Awareness Week, etc)
- Lead point of contact in relationship with digital vendors/agencies
- Creation of new opportunities for patient reviews
- Website
- Social (FB/Meta, IG, TickTock, etc)
- Reputation Management
- Special projects
- Assist with execution of special events e.g. Annual Fertility Symposium (virtual or hybrid event) or appearances at conferences and other marketing opportunities
- Liaise with corporate marketing team, CD and our PR consultant on media opportunities e.g. scheduling, posting, seeking out opportunities
- Assists with the development and implementation of a Marketing Action Plan and Marketing Budget
- Lead point of contact in relationships with outside marketing agencies and/or vendors
- Lead point of contact in relationships with local community groups (eg. GOGS, Men Having Babies, various women's societies, etc)
- Assists with defining practice marketing strategies, initiatives, and performance goals
- Accountable for marketing efforts to obtain increased patient referrals
- Establishes a system to monitor effectiveness of marketing, sales, and advertising strategies
- Represents the physician practice in public relations functions, seminars, and media events
- Promotes actively the positive image of the practice to internal and external audiences
- Supervises the monitoring of patient satisfaction through regular review and compilation of Patient Surveys in a format that permits constructive feedback to all practice departments
- Provides insightful market competition analyses and develops proactive strategies
- Consistently meets objectives outlined by corporate marketing team and corporate sales team
- Assists in the development of marketing materials including advertisements, newsletters, website, annual reports, and other promotional items
- Leads all aspects of patient-focused community events
- Develops and generates reporting mechanism for practice statistics (i.e., referral sources, types of patient visits and procedures)
- Other duties as needed and/or assigned.
- Some travel required (conference attendance, network marketing strategic meetings)
- Responsible for developing new referral sources through field visit prospecting, telemarketing, mailings, luncheons, events and attending meetings, in accordance with sales call quotas.
- Work collaboratively with donor team to review all preliminary donor applications and accept or decline each donor.
- Work with donor coordinator to conduct daily donor follow ups via phone and email.
- Keep detailed track of all donor interactions and demographics.
- Weekly donor outreach to targeted area campuses in Central Florida, South Florida, South West Florida and Tampa Bay area.
- Establish key contacts for classroom presentations, sorority educational presentations, and for on campus health presentations.
- Coordinate and manage college fairs, health fairs, etc.
- Research new donor marketing opportunities in assigned territories.
- Meet with donor teams monthly to review any concerns, needs, and updates.
- Assist Donor Egg Coordinator with:
- Updating all current advertising with new branding
- Researching new advertising opportunities in key target areas
- Coordinating special events (fairs, festivals)
- Establishing relationships with key contacts in target areas
- Executing new marketing campaign both in key target areas
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in marketing or related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with direct-to-consumer marketing, preferably in the healthcare industry is required.
- Previous experience in the fertility industry and/or interfacing with OB/GYN's preferred.
