Provides ultrasound services to Reproductive Medicine.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs ultrasound examinations per scanning protocols, correcting patient history with examination and presents study to physician for examination while adhering to patient schedules.
• High volume follicle scans for IVF monitoring.
• Assists physicians with procedures, providing sonographic guidance during process, obtains necessary supplies and equipment and monitors patient needs assisting physicians with patient support.
• Teaches ultrasound procedures and techniques to visitors in the department such as residents, students, fellows and new sonographers, and enhances own professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, inservice meetings and conferences.
• Maintains documentation as required including patient files, performs data entry, and completes paperwork needed for procedures/processes.
• Develops film through automatic processing, monitoring darkroom supplies and equipment.
• Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
• Performs phlebotomy and injections when required.
• Assists with maintaining supplies and equipment.
• Assists clerical staff with front desk support when needed.

Salary Range

$32.73 - $50.74 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
